Lawyer, entrepreneur and fashion influencer Chioma Ikokwu recently hosted top celebrities, notable fashion designers and fashion influencers to an exciting celebration of fashion and philanthropy on the 20th of December, 2023, at RJ4, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event was proudly supported by Champagne Laurent-Perrier.
The event was to launch new fashion collections for her business, Chioma’s Closet. An initiative she launched to empower the less privileged by selling her pre-loved fashion items, with 50% of the proceeds going to her self-funded non-profit, The Good Way Foundation.
To achieve this, she collaborated with notable Nigerian fashion brands such as Imad Eduso, Amy Aghomi, Wanni Fuga, Hertunba, Weizdhurm Franklyn, LFJ Official and DNA by Iconic Invanity to give fashion and philanthropy centre stage.
During the event, there was also a fireside chat with Latasha Ngwube, who had an insightful conversation with Chioma Ikokwu, Founder/CEO of Chioma’s Closet, about the purpose of establishing Chioma’s Closet and the brand’s values spanning around elegance, luxury, philanthropy, and compassion.
