Since 2019, Trax Apparel has been quietly and confidently reshaping African streetwear.
Through bold designs, cultural storytelling, and community-driven creativity, the brand has made African fashion feel cooler, prouder, and more global — without losing its roots.
From Nigeria, where Trax built a loyal following among celebrities, influencers, and everyday culture lovers, the brand has consistently pushed one message: African stories deserve stylish, modern platforms. Now, that message is travelling beyond borders. The next phase of Trax Apparel’s journey is expansion across Africa — and Ghana was the first stop.

For its debut in Ghana, Trax partnered with Kenten, a concept store in Accra known for
celebrating African creativity in all its forms. From fashion and lifestyle products to food and café experiences, Kenten represents the kind of cultural ecosystem Trax aligns with.During the two-day pop-up, Kenten became home to Trax’s signature designs, alongside exclusive Ghana-inspired pieces. The brand worked with local fabrics and locations, weaving Ghanaian identity directly into the collection. It wasn’t just a retail experience. It was a cultural exchange in motion.
The pop-up attracted a vibrant mix of fashion influencers, lifestyle creators, loyal Trax
customers, and Kenten regulars. Together, they formed a buzzing community around the brand’s storytelling. Guests were introduced to designs they hadn’t seen before — pieces that merged streetwear aesthetics with African heritage. Many described the experience as refreshing, bold, and deeply relatable. Adding to the atmosphere were collaborations with African beverage brands, including makers of palm wine-based rum and traditional drinks, reinforcing the event’s commitment to homegrown creativity.
One of the standout moments was an impromptu runway session. Models styled in Trax pieces walked through the space, giving guests real-time inspiration on how to wear the collection. The brand also demonstrated creative ways to pair and layer its designs, turning the pop-up into a live styling workshop. It was fashion education, performance, and celebration all rolled into one.
By the end of the event, it was clear: Ghana had embraced Trax. The response was
overwhelmingly positive. Customers connected with the brand’s message, admired the
craftsmanship, and appreciated the intentional storytelling behind each piece. Several retailers and partners have since reached out for future collaborations and pop-ups. With Ghana now confirmed as one of Trax Apparel’s official markets, the brand’s African expansion is officially underway.

For Trax Apparel, this pop-up was more than a business move. It was a statement. “Our mission is to bring inspiration and pride to Africans everywhere through the fusion of fashion, art, storytelling, and community,” the brand’s Creative Director explains. And in Accra, that mission came alive.
From Nigerian to Ghanaian creative spaces, Trax continues to prove that African fashion doesn’t need permission to be global, it simply needs platforms to shine. And if this stop is anything to go by, the journey has only just begun.
