London-based Nigerian designer Ṣore Martins of the eponymous brand Ṣore Martins has launched her debut collection, “Ajesola.” A collection inspired by her maternal grandmother, who was a major influence in her life and style growing up. The collection is a mix of local hand-dyed lush materials, chiffon, lace, aso-oke, fringes, crystals, and beads intricately fused together to create extremely elegant, graceful, and artistic pieces with strong hues of green, purple, mustard, black, and white. The collection features intricate hand-beaded kaftans, striking maxi and midi dresses, hand-beaded chiffon skirts, and beaded tops.
