This is something you have hear over and over again but it should be said more loudly so the people at the back can hear, but it’s do not in any shape or form compare yourself to anyone on social media; those photos are often edited and captured from the best angles. People tend to flaunt their wins while keeping their struggles under wraps, so what you see online is just a shiny version of reality, not the full picture. For every awesome pic someone shares, there are probably ten that didn’t make the cut. Everyone’s on their own path, so it’s not fair to compare your genuine self to someone else’s polished persona.
Be free of the guilt to Unfollow
Don’t think twice about unfollowing anyone—celebrities, influencers, or even friends—who messes with your peace of mind. If there are so-called friends on your social media who haven’t been good to you, it’s totally okay to let them go. And if your ex keeps posting pics with their new partner and it bothers you, go ahead and hit that unfollow button. You deserve a social media vibe that’s positive and calming, without any negativity or drama.
