What kind of list would this be if we didn’t bring back this classic? The 1990 Christmas classic was so good that the producers kept going with five installations! Home Alone is one of those movies that never get boring.

This Nigerian Christmas movie quickly became a favourite after its release in 2021. This Kunle Afolayan movie is an easy watch and stars Kunle Remi, Efa Iwara, Linda Osifo, Abayomi Alvin, the Late Rachel Oniga, and many others. ‘A Naija Christmas’ has quite a high re-watch value, and we definitely recommend you add it to your watch list.
Coming to America
This is another Hollywood classic that is totally worth re-watching. We recommend you watch both the 1998 classic and its 2021 sequel.
Christmas in Miami
This 2021 Christmas comedy was produced by AY Makun and featured a star-studded cast inclusive of; AY Makun himself, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Osita Iheme, IK Ogbonna, and many more. It’s a hilarious watch, so kick back and enjoy!
The Grinch
This is one your kids will enjoy, and if you are an adult who loves animation, you should also watch this. The 2018 release, like its predecessors, is based on the book by Dr Seuss, ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’. It stars Benjamin Cumberbatch, Rashida Jones, Pharell Williams, Mindy Sterling, Kenan Thompson and many others.
Battle on Buka Street
Of all the aforementioned movies, this is the latest movie on our list. Produced and directed by Funke Akindele, the movie was released to theatres on the 16th of December. With stars like Mercy Johnson, Sola Sobowale, Bimbo Ademoye, Nkem Owoh, Femi Jacobs, Tina Mba, Funke Akindele, and many others, you can be sure that it will be a good watch!
How to ruin Christmas
This South African Netflix series is the definition of drama. Comedy, drama, suspense, it’s got it all! It was released on Netflix in 2020 and is a perfect series to binge on this holiday.
